Disrupt Google and Apple calendars instead of (only) reaching out to Trello’s, Smartsheet’s, and Scrivener’s plates there’s better money there. Aeon Timeline 2 is the next generation of Visual Timeline Software. Heal us with your visualization, and meanwhile, market yourself as a way to better visualize time and get filthy rich, please. They imitate the same interface we used in paper wall calendars for centuries, for cosmic soup’s sake! Please help upgrade the way we have to conceptualize time for our week/month planning and reduce the stress in my and many others’ lives by 10%. Aeon Timeline allows users to define their own custom Fantasy Calendars, which keeps the same basic structure of days, weeks, months, years, and eras, but allows the user to configure the names, length and number. The time line produce is a separate software called Aeon Timeline. Aeon Timeline ships with an implementation of the standard Gregorian Cal-endar, which will be the only calendar many users will need. Im still learning the intracacies of the software, but I have it down for basic stories without crazy otherworldly calendars, although this is entirely. The value Aeon offers is visualizing time in an approachable way, and Google/Apple calendar (and their clones) is the way this planet generally visualizes time-in a very non-ergonomic, unwieldy way. I have used Aeon Timeline for several years and its nice when the project is not too complicated.or example, while it is a timeline, unless the user is marvelously aware and careful, the dates change. ![]() In my opinion, this should have been among the first features you implemented during your recent transformation/expansion from a fantasy timeline app into a more professional productivity and project management tool. For me, this single feature would turn Aeon from an exotic, fantasy timeline creation tool I sometimes use for projects into an essential productivity tool I can’t live without. Is there any way to see my custom calendar after Ive made it It seems like the only way I can see it is when Im adding in an event or when zoomed in on my timeline. While iCal import would have been very useful, two-way synchronization between Google/Apple calendar and Aeon would have been a game-changer. Use standard calendars with real dates, or use hourly, daily and weekly calendars to create relative timelines without hard dates. A sorely missing feature for me for years. Fantasy Calendars: Aeon Timeline is the only timeline tool available for the Mac market that allows the user to create their own custom Fantasy Calendar. ![]()
